When local pottery businesses were closing, the couple purchased manufacturing equipment and a production building to help carry the area’s pottery tradition forward. Their family-owned company values practical American manufacturing, skilled pottery work, and pieces intended to stay useful for generations. It later added Buckeye Stoneware and Hartstone Pottery assets, continuing a regional craft through everyday crocks, kitchenware, and decorative pottery.

Stoneware Utility Crock - 1 Gallon

Use this stoneware utility crock for a compact kitchen storage arrangement, a countertop display, or an appropriate small-batch food project. Follow the product’s supplied instructions for dishwasher and microwave use. Prevent thermal shock: never move a cold piece directly into a hot oven or place hot pottery on a cold or wet surface. Keep stoneware away from direct flame, stovetops, grills, and broilers. For conventional-oven use where the product is approved, the maker’s general limit is 450°F. Handle heated pieces with oven mitts and protect tables with a trivet.

Stoneware is formed, finished and fired through a ceramic process, so individual pieces can differ slightly in color, texture and shape.
