View full detailsAmerican-Made Jams, Jellies & Fruit Spreads
From the berry patches of the Pacific Northwest to the peach orchards of the South and the cherry groves of Michigan, the United States produces some of the world's finest fruit. Our American-Made Jams, Jellies & Fruit Spreads collection captures that harvest in a jar. We believe that preserves should taste like the fruit they are made from, not just sugar.
That is why we have partnered with small-batch canners and family farms who embrace the "Farm-to-Jar" philosophy. Unlike mass-market brands that rely on fruit concentrates and high-fructose corn syrup, our partners use whole, ripe fruit and pure cane sugar or honey. Whether you are looking for a classic strawberry jam for your morning toast, a spicy pepper jelly for your cheese board, or a rich apple butter for baking, these spreads deliver the authentic taste of the American seasons.
Classic Fruit Jams & Preserves
Taste the difference of whole fruit cooked in small kettles. Our selection features timeless favorites and regional specialties that you won't find in the average grocery store.
-
Berry Medleys: Enjoy the vibrant flavors of Oregon Marionberries, wild Maine blueberries, and red raspberries. These jams are packed with seeds and pulp for a homemade texture.
-
Stone Fruits: Savor the sweetness of Georgia peaches, apricots, and tart cherries preserved at the peak of ripeness.
-
Low Sugar Options: We offer spreads sweetened with fruit juice concentrates or natural alternatives, allowing the true tartness of the fruit to shine through without the sugar spike.
Savory Jellies & Cheese Pairings
Jelly isn't just for peanut butter sandwiches. Our savory collection is designed to elevate your appetizers and charcuterie boards.
-
Hot Pepper Jellies: A Southern staple. Made with Jalapeños, Habaneros, or mild bell peppers, these jellies offer a sweet-heat kick that pairs perfectly with cream cheese or Brie.
-
Onion & Bacon Jams: Rich, savory spreads made from caramelized onions and real bacon. These are the secret ingredient for gourmet burgers and grilled cheese sandwiches.
-
Wine & Herb Jellies: Sophisticated flavors infused with American wines, rosemary, or mint, perfect for glazing roasted meats.
Fruit Butters & Marmalades
Explore the richer, denser side of fruit spreads.
-
Old-Fashioned Fruit Butters: Slow-cooked for hours until the fruit caramelizes and thickens into a dark, spreadable paste. Our Apple and Pumpkin butters are spiced with cinnamon and cloves, tasting like autumn in a jar.
-
Citrus Marmalades: Bright and zesty, these spreads utilize the rinds of California and Florida citrus fruits to add a pleasant bitterness that balances the sweetness.
Buying Considerations: Know Your Spread
The terminology on the jar tells you exactly what texture to expect. Here is a quick guide to navigating our collection:
1. Jam vs. Jelly vs. Preserves
-
Jelly: Made from fruit juice. It is firm, clear, and holds its shape. Best for kids and smooth spreading.
-
Jam: Made from crushed or chopped fruit. It is softer than jelly and spreadable, but still holds together.
-
Preserves: Contains whole fruit or large chunks suspended in syrup. The most textured option.
-
Fruit Butter: Pureed fruit cooked down slowly to a smooth, creamy consistency (no butter is actually added!).
2. Pectin Sources Pectin is the natural fiber that makes jelly "set." Our artisan brands typically use natural fruit pectin or simply rely on the natural pectin found in fruits like apples and citrus skins, avoiding artificial thickening agents.
3. No High-Fructose Corn Syrup One of the biggest benefits of buying small-batch American jams is the ingredient list. Commercial brands use corn syrup because it is cheap. Our partners use Pure Cane Sugar, Honey, or Maple Syrup. This results in a cleaner finish that doesn't leave a cloying aftertaste.
4. Regional Specialties Look for fruits that are specific to American regions for a unique experience:
-
Huckleberry: A tart, wild berry from the Rocky Mountains (Idaho/Montana).
-
Muscadine/Scuppernong: A thick-skinned, sweet grape native to the American South.
-
Mayhaw: A tart berry found in Southern swamps, famous for jelly.
