Half Hill Farm's Five Mushroom Dual Extract processes the mature fruit bodies of five certified organic and responsibly wildcrafted mushrooms (Red Reishi, Turkey Tail, Lion's Mane, Chaga and Cordyceps mushrooms) through a lengthy hot water (decoction), vacuum extraction, and certified organic alcohol (tincture) extraction processes. Our full spectrum mushroom dual extract is manufactured and bottled in our FDA registered and GMP compliant manufacturing facility in Woodbury, TN and has a shelf life of 1 year.

Five Mushroom Dual Extract Suggested Use: Half Hill Farm's Five Mushroom Dual Extract comes in two size: 100 ml (3.38 oz. - ten servings) and 200 ml (6.76 oz. 20 servings). A serving size is 2 teaspoons. Use in tea, coffee or infuse into food products to add all five mushrooms to your diet. This blend has a slightly bitter, earthy flavor that dilutes with full servings of food and drink.

Liquid Five mushroom dual extract vs powdered mushroom blend capsules:  Powder mushroom capsules available in the U.S. are usually the mycelium of the mushroom grown on grain (usually a rice substrate) and ground into a capsule. Most popular brands are made in this manner. They are the easiest to manufacture, fastest to market, and most profitable to scale.

Liquid extracts are an older, slower method. Dual extracts combine the hot water and alcohol extractions over a month process and remove most of the mushroom's biomass weight for a more bioavailable full spectrum of extractable compounds. Utilizing 100% mature fruit bodies and wild-harvested sclerotium—rather than mycelium grown on grain—ensures a full spectrum of species-specific metabolites. This process avoids the starch-heavy biomass found in lab-grown capsules, ensuring the final extract is defined by fungal integrity rather than grain-based fillers.
