Tex-Mex Taco Dip Mix - Better Than Store-Bought!

This versatile mix makes a fabulous dip, and it can also be used as a substitute for "Taco Seasoning Mix." One taste and you will never go back to the old taco mix again! (It makes great chili seasoning, too!) (3-4 out of 10 on a heat scale)

Quick Tip: Having taco night? Use 1/2 package for your meat, and the other 1/2 to make a salsa/sauce for your tacos!

How to Use:

Taco Seasoning: Use 1-2 tbsp per pound of ground beef or turkey.

Taco Sauce: Mix with a 15 oz can of tomato sauce.

Salsa: Mix 1-3 tbsp with 1 (15 oz) can undrained petite diced tomatoes. Add to taste!

Chili Seasoning: Add to your favorite chili recipe for amazing flavor!

Classic Dip (add to taste): Blend mix with 8 oz mayonnaise and 8 oz sour cream. Or try 16 oz sour cream, plain yogurt, or hummus. Chef Jan's favorite: 4 oz (1/2 cup) mayo + 12 oz (1 1/2 cups) sour cream.

Cracker Spread: Combine mix (add to taste) with 8 oz cream cheese and 1/4 cup milk. Enjoy warm (microwave 2 minutes) or chilled.
