Founded in 2020, FlagStars is a veteran-owned flag company based in Jurupa Valley, California, with a flag-making workshop in Ontario, California. The company began with a focus on improving flag craftsmanship and building lasting customer relationships. Its stated values center on patriotism, American production, and careful workmanship, combining handcrafting with machinery that supports its makers.

Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with a 1776–2026 Betsy Ross commemorative flag made in the USA by FlagStars. This modern America 250 design places 13 white stars in a circle around the dates “1776” and “2026,” combining the familiar Betsy Ross-style star pattern with a distinctive tribute to 250 years since American independence.

1776–2026 Betsy Ross Flag Features

  • Made in the USA: FlagStars states that its flags are cut, sewn and embroidered in its Ontario, California workshop using materials sourced in the United States.
  • Durable nylon construction: Lightweight nylon is designed to fly readily and dry quickly, making it a practical choice for many residential outdoor displays.
  • Embroidered stars: The 13 white stars are embroidered rather than printed.
  • 1776–2026 commemorative design: The anniversary dates appear inside the circular 13-star canton.
  • Multiple sizes: Current options include 3' × 5', 4' × 6' and 5' × 8'.
  • Indoor or outdoor display: Suitable for homes, businesses, patriotic events, America 250 celebrations and commemorative displays when installed with compatible hardware.

A Betsy Ross-Inspired Flag for America 250

This is a modern commemorative flag rather than an eighteenth-century reproduction. Its design uses the familiar circle of 13 stars associated today with the Betsy Ross flag and adds “1776” and “2026” inside the canton to mark the 250th anniversary of American independence.

On June 14, 1777, the Continental Congress resolved that the national flag would contain 13 alternating red and white stripes and 13 white stars on a blue field representing “a new constellation.” The resolution did not prescribe a circular star arrangement, and historians have not conclusively established that Betsy Ross designed the familiar circular pattern. The Library of Congress explains the 1777 Flag Resolution and the traditional Betsy Ross story.

Choose the Right Flag Size

Available Size What to Consider
3' × 5' A common residential size for compatible house-mounted and smaller in-ground flagpoles.
4' × 6' Provides greater visual presence; confirm that the pole and hardware are rated for the larger flag.
5' × 8' Designed for appropriately rated larger flagpole installations where additional flag area and wind load can be accommodated.

Before choosing a size, verify your flagpole height, attachment system and approved flag dimensions. For additional guidance, use our flag and flagpole size guide.

Why Choose Nylon?

Nylon is relatively lightweight and generally flies readily in light to moderate wind. It also dries quickly, making it a common choice for residential outdoor flags. Flag material is only one part of choosing the correct setup; flag size, pole construction, hardware and wind exposure should also be considered.
