Add a touch of dramatic, architectural beauty to your landscape with Bear Grass. This unique and stunning North American native plant forms a dense clump of slender, grass-like leaves. In early summer, it sends up a tall, sturdy stalk topped with a large, spectacular cluster of creamy-white flowers. Bear Grass is exceptionally hardy and drought-tolerant, making it a perfect, low-maintenance choice for a statement plant in a xeriscape or native garden. Its tough leaves were also traditionally prized by Native Americans for basket weaving.
