A matched pair of Skinners gives flexibility in the field. The buffalo horn drop-point Damascus Skinner set offers two drop-point blades in full Damascus steel. One knife is sized for primary work. The smaller companion handles detail cuts. Dark buffalo horn scales provide a dense, secure grip on both.

Damascus skinner set at Divine Knives with two matching Damascus drop-point blades, dark buffalo horn scales, white bolsters, and brass pins.

The History Behind Matched Skinner Sets

Hunters have long valued having more than one blade available during field dressing. A larger knife handles primary hide work while a smaller companion manages detail cuts. Drop-point shapes became preferred for their controllable tip and useful belly. Damascus steel added toughness and visual depth. Buffalo horn handles offered density and natural grip. Divine Knives brings these elements together in a matched pair.

Damascus Skinner Set Performance

Both blades track cleanly through hide and tissue. Damascus layering resists chipping under repeated use. The drop-point tips stay controllable for precise work. The larger knife covers primary cutting. The smaller knife handles finer tasks. Weight feels balanced on each piece. Field dressing moves forward with steady options rather than limited tools.
