Bunny Hopkins was founded in 2020 by Shamik Dasgupta in Atlanta, Georgia. Inspired by his daughter Ira and her interest in the boxes her toys arrived in, he set out to make toys that invite more imaginative play. This family-owned company values open-ended exploration, American craftsmanship, and durable materials, producing its wooden play equipment in small batches at its Atlanta workshop.

An Original-size climbing triangle with one reversible ramp

The Classic Climber Playset combines the Original-size Pikler triangle with one reversible ramp for supervised indoor climbing and sliding. Compared with the Mini playset, its larger triangle offers a taller and wider climbing frame. The current product description recommends this configuration for children ages 3–6+ years, while the maker's search title gives a different range; follow the instructions for the exact product.

Select a rockwall/slide ramp if you want climbing holds on one face, or a ladder/slide ramp for a rung-based climbing surface. Both choices reverse to a smooth slide. One ramp comes with the selected set, rather than both ramps shown together in some photographs. A family choosing between configurations should compare the climbing surface as well as the finish.

The Original triangle measures 42 inches long, 26 inches wide, and 36 inches high. Each compatible ramp measures 48 inches long by 16 inches wide. Measure the room for the full arrangement, with additional clearance for movement and adult supervision. The triangle is designed to fold for storage; use its supplied folding and setup instructions whenever moving between storage and play.

Materials

The triangle and compatible ramps use maple wood. Finished versions use the maker's non-toxic, water-based stains and sealants, while Raw Timber is unfinished. Hand production leaves each piece with its own grain and subtle color differences. The wood species and the finish name describe different things: a brown-toned finish is not evidence that the equipment is made from another species of wood.

Care

Clean the wood with a damp cloth when needed. Bunny Hopkins recommends occasional natural beeswax maintenance, approximately every couple of years. Follow the instructions supplied with your selected finish, especially if choosing unfinished Raw Timber. Bunny Hopkins publishes a dispatch estimate of 3–5 business days from Atlanta, Georgia. Its direct-store shipping policy covers the contiguous United States and excludes Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, P.O. boxes, and APO/FPO addresses. The supplier lists ground transit estimates of 2–4 business days to the East Coast and 4–8 to the West Coast. These are estimates after dispatch.

The supplier's published direct-store return policy allows 30 days from delivery for unused items in original condition and packaging, with the customer paying return shipping.
