The History Behind the Gurkha Kukri

The kukri developed as a trusted tool among Gurkha soldiers and outdoorsmen for chopping, cutting, and camp tasks. The distinctive forward curve concentrated power for efficient work. Damascus steel later added toughness and visual depth. Stacked bone handles combined density with visual contrast. Ornate metal fittings became a mark of refined craftsmanship. Divine Knives continues that practical tradition with careful layering and solid materials.

Stacked Bone Handle Construction
