Detail work on smaller game and delicate cuts calls for a blade shaped differently from a standard skinner. This caping and skinning knife uses a curved, mirror polished blade with a finger hole control point and a secure micarta handle.

Caping and detail skinning require precise control, and this knife is shaped specifically for that purpose. The curved blade and forward finger hole give the user a second point of control that a standard straight handle cannot offer.

A Blade Shape Built For Precision

The curved, mirror polished blade is designed for detail work like caping and fine skinning, where control matters more than raw cutting power.

A Finger Hole For Added Grip Options

The forward finger hole lets the user choke up on the blade for finer control during delicate cuts, a feature not found on typical fixed blades.

A Handle Built For Secure Use

The brown micarta scales offer a textured, secure grip, while the ring pommel adds an additional point of control during use.

For a more traditional skinning option to pair with this knife, our stag horn skinner knife offers a classic handle style built for similar field tasks.
