Honey Oxymel – Apple Cider Vinegar & Herb Blend

Marie’s Bees was founded in 2017 by Marisa Papetti in Bellingham, Washington. The business grew from her interest in beekeeping and local food, and its name honors her husband’s grandmother, Marie. Papetti developed the business around community connections, food education, and care for honeybees. The company works with local beekeepers and farms and offers honey products alongside opportunities to learn about bees and cooking, reflecting a focus on the people and landscape of the Pacific Northwest.

Honey Oxymel is a sweet-tart blend of raw honey and apple cider vinegar with herbs and spices. It can be used as a culinary addition to dressings or mixed into a beverage. The supplier identifies apple cider vinegar from Apple State and includes herbs such as elderberries and rose hips. It is presented here as a flavored food ingredient, without a daily therapeutic dose, sore-throat claim, or promise of general wellness benefits.

• Honey and apple cider vinegar blend
• Made for culinary use
• Supplier identifies Washington bee-product production
• Ingredients and quantity reviewed individually

Current net quantity requires supplier confirmation. The supplier’s written size and label artwork disagree. A replacement quantity has not been guessed.

Photographs may show serving suggestions, label artwork, or a different container. Only the product described by this listing is included. The product title does not resolve a missing specification; ask BuyAmerican to confirm any detail that is important to your purchase.

Ingredients shown by the supplier: Raw PNW honey, apple cider vinegar, elderberries, rose hips, black peppercorns, cloves, fennel, sweet orange oil, ginger oil. Label asterisks identify selected ingredients as organic; whole-product organic certification is not established.

Check the current ingredient statement and any allergen or advisory wording before serving. An ingredient described as organic does not automatically make the finished product certified organic. No nutrition values or absence of cross-contact allergens have been inferred from the name or photograph.

The photographed label says not to refrigerate and to shake before use. Follow the current bottle’s directions, keep its closure clean and secure, and check the label before serving. The shelf life and current quantity still require confirmation. Because this blend contains honey, do not give it to children younger than 12 months. Herbs and essential oils make this a different product from plain honey; do not assume that guidance for a single-ingredient honey answers every question about this blend.

Start with the flavor rather than a promised health effect: whisk a little into a salad dressing, add a small splash to sparkling water, or use it to bring acidity and sweetness to a dish. Adjust to taste and the recipe you are following. Bottle style may vary according to the maker, so judge the product by its confirmed contents and current label rather than expecting the pictured closure in every shipment.
