Lime Beer & Margarita Rimming Salt, 4 oz

Grill Your Ass Off was founded in 2016 by U.S. Army veteran Jason Murff and now lists its business address in Salado, Texas. Murff began the business in his garage while studying aircraft pilot training after military service. His interest in cooking grew into a way to bring people together and rebuild the camaraderie he valued in the Army. The company uses military and first-responder themes and supports organizations and events serving those communities.

Lime Beer & Margarita Rimming Salt, 4 oz. Lime Beer Salt combines salt, sugar, citric acid and natural lime, with silicon dioxide as an anti-caking agent. The 4 oz pouch is pictured in the product media. The maker suggests it for beer and margaritas; the salt itself is a dry seasoning, and no beverage, glassware or other serving accessory is included.

Flavor and ways to use it

Pour a small amount onto a clean plate when preparing a glass rim, or add a small pinch to a drink to assess the balance of salt and citrus. The maker suggests lagers and wheat beers. Avoid dipping a damp glass directly into the pouch because moisture can affect the remaining dry product.

For help choosing a complementary flavor or cooking approach, read our seasoning, rub and finishing-salt guide. Compare the flavor profile and selected pack with the meal you plan to prepare; product photos show serving ideas and do not include extra foods, drinks, utensils or accessories.
