Raw New England Honeycomb | Hand-Cut, Small or Large
Details
Aquidneck Honey was founded in 1996 by beekeeper Jeff Mello and grew from his backyard beekeeping in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. Now operating from Westport, Massachusetts, the family business continues his interest in bees, regional agriculture, and honey with a distinct sense of place. Mello began building hives after noticing few bees around his own herbs and vegetables. Today, the company brings that practical connection to the hive into honey, pantry gifts, body care, and home products, with an emphasis on familiar traditions, thoughtful recipes, and goods people can enjoy together.
Raw New England Honeycomb | Hand-Cut, Small or Large
Hand-cut New England honeycomb offers honey held inside the wax cells built by bees. It combines a gentle wax texture with the sweetness of the honey itself, making it a distinctive addition to a cheese board. The supplier rotates harvests from New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island, so a specific state is not guaranteed for every piece. Small and large options are listed. Select the size shown in the options rather than assuming every pictured package has the same weight.

Care
Care and storage
Keep the container tightly closed at room temperature and use a clean, dry utensil. Plain raw honey can naturally crystallize. For liquid varieties, a gentle warm-water bath can soften the honey; avoid boiling water and follow the container’s instructions. For infused varieties, follow any additional storage directions on the delivered label. Keep moisture out of the container and replace the lid after serving.
