Rustic Glass-Top Display Table for Collectibles – 3 Sizes
Details
Charles River Woodworks was founded in 2018 by Michael Langone in Waltham, Massachusetts, beside the river that inspired its name. The workshop moved to Whitinsville, Massachusetts, in late 2025. Langone describes making as a lifelong pursuit and sees creativity and play as valuable at every age. His business brings that outlook into the home through handcrafted game tables, display furniture and other wood designs.
Put favorite objects where you can enjoy them every day with this rustic glass-top display table. A removable sliding tempered glass panel covers a recessed display area, turning a collection into part of the room. Arrange seashells, jewelry, stones or other low-profile keepsakes beneath the glass, with access when you want to refresh the display.
Choose from three outer tabletop sizes and seven total heights. The smallest square version can serve as a side or bedside table, while the larger square and rectangular versions offer more space for a coffee-table display. Measure the objects you want to show against the interior dimensions, rather than relying on the outer tabletop size.
The display space provides 2.5 inches of depth between the birch plywood base and glass. That clearance is especially useful to check before arranging taller pieces or stacking objects. Photographs show example collections and room styling; displayed shells, plants, lamps and other decorative objects are not listed as included contents. Care
Care and assembly
For routine upkeep, gently remove visible dust from the wood with a clean, soft, dry cloth. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight and sudden changes in temperature or humidity. Lift the table carefully when repositioning it, supporting the main frame rather than pulling on the legs or glass. Remove loose game or display items before a move.
The legs attach through pre-drilled holes using the included hardware and a Phillips screwdriver. Follow the supplied assembly instructions and place the table on a level surface before use. For general handling and placement principles, see North Carolina Historic Sites furniture-care guidance. This is general conservation advice; follow any product-specific instructions supplied with your order.
