Fantozzi Honey Company was founded by Thomas Fantozzi in 2017 after a beekeeping class at Cal Poly inspired his first two hives. His upbringing on a family farm in Patterson, California, shaped a business centered on bees and local agriculture. The family-run apiary emphasizes healthy colonies, harvesting only surplus honey, and handling its products in small batches.
This sage honey comes from beehives in California’s Central Valley and Central Coast, with nectar gathered predominantly from sage flowers. The maker describes it as lighter in appearance and taste than its wildflower honey. A squeeze bottle gives you a simple way to add that sweetness to a cup, plate, or recipe without transferring the honey to another serving container.
Raw sage honey. The maker identifies the product as raw. The floral variety describes the nectar source of the honey, rather than an added flavor ingredient.
Packaging format: bottle. Check the current package for its complete label and any additional handling information.
Keep the bottle closed and store it at room temperature. Wipe the dispensing opening as needed and avoid introducing water or other foods. Honey can form natural crystals over time; this change in texture is not, by itself, a sign of spoilage. Follow the package instructions for any further handling advice.
Do not give honey or honey-containing products to children younger than 12 months. Read the CDC guidance on honey and infant botulism for more information.
