The American Flag Bowie Combo Set covers two different carries. The fixed blade rides on a belt in its own sheath. The folder drops into a pocket and disappears. Most sets give you two shapes. This one gives you two ways to carry.

The two knives use different steel. The folder runs forged Damascus with a ladder pattern through the blade. The Bowie runs polished steel with a star field etched across the flat. Neither is pretending to be the other.

This Bowie combo set for sale pairs a fixed blade with a folder. Flag colors carry across both handles and tie them together.

Bowie and Damascus folder Combo Set at Divine Knives with an etched star field Bowie, a Damascus ladder pattern folder, flag colored handles on both, and one black leather sheath.

The History Behind This American Flag Bowie Knife

Themed knives are older than most buyers expect. American cutlers made commemorative and presentation blades through the nineteenth century. Colored handle scales arrived with early plastics in the early 1900s. Those bright scales turned an ordinary pocket knife into a keepsake. Divine Knives carries the same idea across two matched pieces.

American Flag Bowie Combo Set Performance

The Bowie handles the work that needs reach. A broad belly sweeps through camp chores and rope. The brass guard stops your hand at the ricasso. Weight sits forward, and the blade carries itself down.

The folder covers everything small. Damascus holds a fine edge for opening and trimming. Three holes through the blade drop weight from the pivot end. The star field on the Bowie is etched into the surface. Heavy regrinding of the flat would eventually take it off.

Bowie Knife Combo Set Construction

Flag colors run through both handles in resin. The Bowie takes blue with white stars at the front. Red and white fill the rear half toward the butt. Color sits inside the material rather than painted on top.

The folder reverses the layout. Red and white stripes run the body with Damascus bolsters at the front. A blue panel with a single star closes the butt end. Steel pins hold the folder scales through the liners. A brass guard finishes the Bowie at the ricasso. Wash both by hand and dry them straight away.

Best Uses for the Starfield Combo

This set sells as a gift more than a tool. Gift buyers buy American flag Bowie sets more than collectors do. Holidays, retirements, and service milestones are the usual occasions. The pair also works as an everyday carry starter. One goes on the belt, and one goes in the pocket.

FAQ’s

Are both knives Damascus?

No. The folder blade is forged Damascus. The Bowie is polished steel with an etched star field.

Does the sheath fit both knives?

No. The black leather sheath is cut for the fixed blade only. The folder carries loose in a pocket.

Will the star pattern on the blade wear off?

The etch sits on the surface rather than through the steel. Normal sharpening at the edge leaves it alone.

What are the handles made from?

Colored resin with the flag pattern set inside the material. It resists water and will not swell.

How is this different from the Brassback Musso Bowie?

The Brassback is a 17-inch collector piece with brass and horn. This is a two-piece set built around gifting.
