This American-made USCG flag is produced from 200-denier nylon, a popular flag material because it combines strength with relatively light weight. Standard outdoor configurations are finished with heavy-duty stitching, a reinforced poly-sateen heading and brass grommets for secure attachment to a compatible flagpole.
The Coast Guard artwork is printed using deep-penetrating dyes designed to produce strong, vivid color. The standard construction is single-face reverse, meaning the design is intended to be viewed correctly from the front while appearing reversed from the back, as is common with many outdoor printed flags.
