Deep, sweeping cuts during field dressing call for a blade shaped specifically for that job. This trailing point skinner offers a deep belly and stacked leather handle, giving you both function and a classic, collectible look.

A trailing point profile is prized for skinning because the upswept tip lifts naturally away from the cut, making it easier to work through hide without nicking meat. This knife pairs that shape with a traditional stacked leather handle.

A Blade Shape Built For Skinning

The deep belly and upswept trailing point are designed specifically for the sweeping cuts skinning requires, more so than a standard drop point.

A Handle With Classic Character

Stacked leather washers create a traditional, textured grip that has been a favorite among hunters and collectors for generations.

Brass Fittings For Durability And Style

The brass guard and steel pommel add both structural durability and a polished, traditional finish to the handle.

Hunters who like traditional handle materials often also consider our ram horn skinner knife, which offers a similarly rugged, classic build for field work.
