Virginian Stock (Malcolmia maritima) - 500 Seeds

Description:

Virginia Stock might sound like a boring name, but don't let that throw you off... these beautiful pink, purple and white flowers are among the most fragrant in all of nature. Due to the beautiful fragrance and ease of growing, Virginia Stock have been among the favorites for gardeners for generations. Trust us... while the looks of these flowers are worth planting alone, you will be thankful that you did once you smell their amazing scent in your garden.

Planting Instructions:

Sow seeds as soon as the soil can be worked in the spring. Plant just below the surface of the soil and keep moist until germination, which usually occurs within 10-15 days at 60-65 degrees F. For continuous blooming, plant a new crop every 4 weeks. In mild climates, sow in late fall for early spring blooms. Water seedlings regularly until they become established, and control weeds. Mature plants are fairly drought tolerant, but also appreciate watering in dry weather. This plant makes an attractive ground cover as well as excellent choice for small, shallow spaces.
