Moksha Chocolate was founded in 2019 by Jen and Michael Caines in Boulder, Colorado. The company grew from a cacao project in Peru into a small-batch, bean-to-bar chocolate business. Its approach centers on direct-trade relationships, transparent sourcing, and making distinctive chocolate while supporting the farmers behind the cacao.
This 12-piece mushroom chocolate sampler brings together three distinct recipes, with four individually packaged 15 g squares of each blend. Compare the creamy 65% Reishi Reserve™, the 70% Forest Reserve™ blend, and the 80% Summit Reserve™ dark chocolate. All three recipes are crafted in Boulder and lightly sweetened with coconut sugar.
Reishi Reserve combines Reishi mushroom with coconut-based vegan mylk chocolate. Forest Reserve pairs Turkey Tail, Maitake, and Chaga with 70% dark chocolate. Summit Reserve features Lion’s Mane and Cordyceps in an 80% cacao recipe. The assortment lets you compare cacao percentages, textures, and ingredient combinations before choosing a full case of one blend. Each square contains 500 mg of its recipe’s mushroom ingredient or combined blend; individual mushroom amounts within multi-mushroom recipes are not specified.
Once you find a favorite, explore the 80% Lion’s Mane and Cordyceps chocolate case or browse the artisan chocolate collection. This product is a physical chocolate assortment, with four squares of each recipe, rather than a gift card or a choice of one flavor.
Serve the squares directly from their individual packages; no preparation is required. Arrange one of each recipe for a comparative tasting, share portions with other chocolate enthusiasts, or enjoy the blends on separate occasions. Keep the wrapper with each square so you can identify its recipe and ingredient statement. The assortment contains coconut milk powder in the Reishi recipe, so its contents differ from a case of either Forest or Summit alone.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Protect this cacao or chocolate from warm windows, hot vehicles, and other sources of heat. Keep the package label available for the product’s own directions and date information.
The maker ships eligible domestic orders primarily with FedEx. Shipping availability, services, and prices depend on the destination and are confirmed at checkout; the maker does not serve every U.S. state. Early-week orders typically dispatch within 1–2 business days, while later-week orders may be held until Monday to reduce time in a carrier facility over the weekend. Published transit estimates are typically 1–3 business days after dispatch and are not guaranteed delivery dates.
For warm-weather shipments, the maker uses insulated packaging and ice packs and recommends FedEx 2-Day service, especially outside Colorado, when that option is available. Seasonal shipping rates can be higher. Standard delivery in extreme heat does not carry an unmelted-arrival guarantee. Choose an address where someone can receive the package promptly; hot porches, outdoor lockers, and delayed collection increase melt risk. The supplier excludes responsibility for melting caused by incorrect addresses, missed delivery attempts, carrier delays, extreme local temperatures, or packages left outside after delivery.
This is perishable food. The maker does not accept returns once an order has shipped, been picked up, been opened, or left its care. If this product arrives damaged, incorrect, missing, or melted, contact BuyAmerican promptly at hello@buyamerican.com with your order number, a description, and clear photos of the packaging and product. Issues are reviewed individually; a replacement, credit, refund, or another resolution is discretionary rather than automatic. Request order changes or cancellation immediately, because changes are not guaranteed after packing or handoff to the carrier.
